I may be the only techie person in the entirety of the universe who can quell the urge to buy the new toy. I got a Kindle *last Christmas*. I got an iPod like five years after everyone else. But it’s because it’s always so exorbitantly expensive when it first comes out, but then when the next cool thing (or the next gen) comes out, the original one goes down in price, and I win.
I guess I love my money more than my gadgets?
Now if I made more money…..
I DO like the newness of the new Kindle Fire. It’s much newer than my new iPad.
LOL so true! My husband is definitely that guy. He is prowling for one as we speak.
I would be so excited about this. Only it would probably damage my iPad love affair. In fact I’m afraid my iPad might be looking at me writing this. No… no sweetie, I wasn’t looking at other handheld devices. Of COURSE you don’t look fat in that. No I would NEVER leave you for another…come back…wait!!!
I WANT IT! ….But then again I want everything, always. Oh and I should note that I have no ipads or kindles or nooks or whatever. I cant justify buying something cool when I am struggling to pay my bills each month. Thus the reason I am still struggling along with my crapberry. You are so funny, as always

I’m not so much about the new as I am about the shiny. LOVE THE SHINY.
I’ll stick with the regular Kindle that my work got for me as a going away gift.
